About
The Research and Training Unit of FISD is proud to host the International Conference on Gender and Climate Justice (ICGCJ 2025). This conference will serve as a platform for meaningful discussions on climate change, its disproportionate impact on women and marginalized communities, and the vital role of grassroots climate action, community-driven resilience strategies, and the need for equitable solutions.
ICGCJ 2025 invites undergraduates, researchers, academics, policymakers, government officials, NGO and INGO representatives, CSO members, private sector leaders, and youth activists to contribute and engage in impactful discussions.
We welcome abstract submissions presenting original research—whether empirical or library-based—that offers new insights. Submissions should demonstrate methodological rigor, sound analysis, ethical considerations, and technical accuracy.
We invite submissions that address one or more of the symposium’s thematic areas given below.
1. Women and Natural Disasters
2. Political Ecology, Gender and Water Rights
