Ayeshmantha’s professional journey is distinguished by her unwavering commitment to social development and child protection. Her current role as Programme Manager for Child Rights Protection and Promotion at FISD aligns perfectly with her career aspirations. A graduate of the University of Colombo’s Faculty of Law, Ayeshmantha is now pursuing her Master of Laws, further deepening her expertise in the legal field. She was sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law, which was a key turning point in her legal career which she hopes to utilize in creating a violence-free world for children. She brings a depth of experience having previously served as a legal apprentice in the National Child Protection Authority and NGOs. Ayeshmantha’s legal background, coupled with her hands-on experience in child protection, equips her to make substantial contributions to the well-being and safety of children, reflecting her deep-seated passion for creating positive, lasting change in society.
