Introduction

The Foundation for Innovative Social Development (FISD) has been actively engaged in community and public outreach, focusing on advocacy, training, workshops, and empowerment in areas such as gender equality, child rights, drug and alcohol prevention, and environmental protection. FISD’s approach is both empirical and pragmatic, aiming to create meaningful impact at the grassroots level.

Overview and Aim of the Courses

The primary goal of these short courses is to share the valuable knowledge and hands-on experience gained through community engagement. These courses emphasize practical learning, offering insights from real-world fieldwork, alongside relevant themes and concepts. They are designed for individuals already working or aspiring to work towards community empowerment and social change, helping them gain deeper practical skills.

Accessible to people with minimal formal education, the courses are delivered in simple, local languages. The curriculum is highly practical, and every effort will be made to provide real field exposure to participants, ensuring they gain firsthand experience in the areas of focus.
