Programme Assistant (Alcohol, Drugs Prevention and Development)

Devinda’s professional journey is marked by a dedication to sustainable social development through empowering vulnerable communities. His current role as Programme Assistant for Alcohol, Drugs Prevention, and Development at FISD aligns perfectly with his career aspirations. He graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura’s BA (Hons) in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and he is currently reading for his M.Phil. in the same university. He has pursued further specialization through diplomas in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Human Rights, and Human Resource Management with a certificate in Alcohol Prevention. Apart from that Devinda is serving as a Visiting lecturer at the Sri Lankan police academy. He also worked as an Intern in the Child Protection Authority and Ministry of Justice and Special Investigation Unit at Sri Lanka police and as a Research Assistant at the Gender Centre of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
