Shashika Dilhani, who holds a BA (Hons) in Anthropology, has committed herself to advancing children’s rights at FISD, where her work is deeply focused on the protection and promotion of these rights in the Anuradhapura district. Her academic background provides her with a profound understanding of cultural and social dynamics, which she effectively applies to her role in advocating for vulnerable children. Over her two years of experience working on UNICEF projects, Shashika has developed a keen insight into the complexities of child rights issues, particularly in rural communities. Her dedication to creating safe and nurturing environments for children is evident in her efforts to ensure that their rights are upheld, and their voices heard.
